37° and 45° flares are often smaller diameter end forms for high-pressure fluid delivery lines. These transfer lines are commonly used in hydraulic or fuel lines for fluid power and motion control. The mating part has a chamfered edge around the outer diameter, located inside the bell mouth. The mating joint also has a thread behind the connection point. A nut is usually added above the 37° bell to secure the threaded joint to the bell itself, thus forming a seal point. Due to their small nature, 37° and 45° flares are the most suitable end forms for stamping end forming.
