Basically, there are two different ways to flare the end of a length of our stainless steel thin wall tubing.
The first one is very simple and works with our 0.018″ diameter and 0.025″ diameter pipes. We call this method “cold flaring” because it is a one-step process that does not require any annealing (softening) of the tube ends. Larger diameter tubing (0.032″ diameter and larger) has a larger cross-section of material, and generally thicker tubing walls make the cold flaring process more difficult. For these larger sizes, we start with the tip of the tubing Carry out annealing. Combustion is easy to carry out.
